Microsoft Game Studios today announced the arrival of new downloadable content for the popular Xbox® racing title, Project Gotham Racing® 2. The PGR(tm)2 Paris Booster Pack includes eight cars to race on seven new tracks in the beautiful "City of Lights." Gamers can download the PGR 2 Paris Booster Pack via Xbox Live(tm) for $4.99 (U.S.) beginning today, May 20.

The PGR 2 Paris Booster Pack will have gamers racing through the streets of Paris in some of the hottest cars around, including the Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z51, the Ferrari 250TR and the Porsche 356 A Carrera Speedster. Gamers' driving skills will be put to the test as they zip through L'Arc de Triomphe, Les Monuments Célébres and Elysées Challenge while racking up Kudos and showing the competition how high-speed racing is really done.

Project Gotham Racing 2 is the follow-up to the smash hit Project Gotham Racing, and offers circuit-based racing through highly detailed, photorealistic urban environments. Racers can choose from more than 100 of the hottest cars while navigating their way around 10 exciting cities, mastering corners and accelerating through the straightaways before moving to a different venue. Players also can race against up to seven friends at once using System Link or match up against seven players online utilizing the Xbox Live service. Project Gotham Racing 2 was developed by Bizarre Creations and is available now for an estimated retail price of $29.99 (U.S.).
